You Are Welcome!

Our Programs

Weekly Service – Sunday, 9:00 a.m.
Communion – First Sunday of the month
Supervised nursery care is provided for children from birth through age five. Children’s bulletins and large-print bulletins are available, as well as audiotapes of our services.
Open Communion is celebrated on the first Sunday of the month; all Christians are invited to receive the sacrament. Baptism, for adults who are ready to profess their faith and for children whose parents take vows on their behalf, may be scheduled after consultation with the pastor.
With other churches of our community, we participate in joint worship services for many special occasions: Thanksgiving, Advent, Lent, Baccalaureate and the National Day of Prayer.
Coffee Time – each Sunday after worship
Persons who want to grow in friendship and build community with others will find plenty of opportunities at our church. A weekly coffee time after worship brings together newcomers and members for visiting and getting better acquainted. Meals, outings and other special events strengthen these relationships and provide lots of fun through the year.
Spiritual Formation
Bible Study – Sunday
An adult Sunday School class meets for Bible study prior to the worship service each week. Additional short-term studies are scheduled at other times throughout the year. Topics range from a specific book of the Bible to current issues. Check with the pastor for current offerings.
Music Ministry
Adult Choir – Thursday, 6:30 p.m.
Throughout the school year, our choir sings at most services. In the summer months, members have opportunity to share their vocal or instrumental talents by providing special music. Periodically, we host programs, such as: holiday cantatas, patriotic musicals, folk concerts and organ recitals.
Children’s Ministry
Children’s Church – Sunday, 11:15 a.m.
Following a children’s sermon with the pastor in worship, preschool and elementary age children are dismissed to the lower level for educational programs geared to their age level. Teaching is designed to bring the Bible to life through stories, activities, crafts and music.
The children are involved also in several hands-on service projects. They send greeting cards to our ill and homebound members. They assist in worship as acolytes who light the candles and ring the church bell.
Our congregation takes an active role in the community Vacation Bible School held one week during the summer. Further, we encourage children to attend one of the six church camps in our conference.
Youth Ministry
Middle youth meet weekly during Sunday School at 11:15 a.m.  High School and Middle School youth meet for a fun activity and lesson at 10:00 a.m. on many Sundays throughout the year.  Check the church calendar for dates.
The youth are involved in special events such as: Trunk or Treat, Rock-a-Thon, Sub Sandwich Sale, Service Projects, concerts, and Mission Trip.
Women’s Ministry
Sisters in Faith – 3rd Wednesday of the month, 7:00 p.m.
Our women’s circle meets regularly for study, fellowship, service projects and fundraising. All the women of our church share together in annual events, such as: a Valentine Tea, Mother-Daughter Banquet, and Holiday Cookie Walk.
